Stone
Is it 1 month, 2 month, 3 months before scheduled departure date? What is your experience?ThanksPaul
Mr. Don
I have found that if I book 2 months out or more I get the best rate. Also, Air China has been the cheapest for me for both my trips to China but if you can get tickets earlier you can fly nearly any airline for a reasonable price
Amaro
Its been a real hit or miss lately. I would just keep checking the prices and pay what you think is "fair" and affordable.
ReiChina
It depends on the date that you want to fly as well as how far out you buy...times like May holiday, New year, October holiday, or July-August are just going to be priced high no matter when you look at prices. If you fly when it's getting hot or when it's getting cold- these are also going to be a little more than other times because it's good travel weather- not too hot yet or not too cold. But if you're working then it's a lot harder to get time off when tickets will be cheaper as well since most schools only give big holidays off.
