Vinny
Hi everyone, Not sure if this is the right area for this topic. My wifes chinese passport still shows hermaiden name and we want to change it so it matches the greencard. It also will help her traveling overseas because she was held at HK international airport because they said the name on the passport does not match her greencard. Anyone know how I can get this changed? Thanks,Vinny and Qing Link to comment
dnoblett
Not quite an citizenship topic so will be moved to Immigrations challenges forum... Anyway, sometimes can get an AKA amended into the passport at the Chinese consulate having jurisdiction over your residency in the USA. My wife's passport is still maiden name even after renewing it last year while visiting family in China, has not been a problem. Looks like visa right service can handle this for you. http://www.visarite.com/Chinese_Passport_Name_Amendment.htm Link to comment
