Needless to say, China is not drug free . I think the use and spread of drugs have increased in the past years. The entertainment industry are full of those girls who are addicts ; also, some Er-Nai 's are users too . It is no longer true that those girls do these kind of jobs in order to support parents who are ill , or brothers who are enrolled in college. Many of those do sex for supporting their drug habits. The highway from Chengdu to Kunmin is full of smugglers , like wise in Western Yunnan to Tibet . The problem with drug traffickers is they have a lot of money . They can bribe local officials . When western "political progressives---the Save Tibet!" crowd roll into Yunnan, on their way to Tibet, they just HAVE to mellow out! ---can't contain themselves.... so the Bai women (and others in traditional dress) approach ---Guys Like Me-- offering the drugs.. Western Liberals put her at risk of Execution---- BUT WHO CARES!!! If the stuff is good enuf' !!! And hey!! ITS ALL CHINA'S FAULT! (not mine!) Link to comment
