hypoclear
It's tues morning here in SZ. We haven't recieved our DS-230 which was mailed Nov 10/2003 Last time I called NVC they did say we could call them if it didn't turn up and they'd send another. HMMMM??? is this a test? how much mail can we send and lose before the end of the year?? Or we could download the forms fill them out and mail in. SO after thi8nking about this and weighting the odds we will do just that and Fed Ex it back to them with a cover letter. They should have it by fri or monday. Has anyone mailed a set of forms to NVC without the bar code sheet? what happened, did it bounce back to you? Also has anyone fed ex'ed to them as well? Thanks mark and Bea Link to comment
robhon
Just send it in. That's what I did. I know they've received it and haven't, as of yet, kicked it out. I've never even seen the barcode. What's it like? A little black and while stripy thing? Link to comment
Dean Hall
Good morning Mark and Bea, It's Dean here, and I sure wish I was sitting at the Shekou McD having my morning cup. Anyway, what can it hurt to send it on. Not much. I'm here at work waiting for China to wake up. My wife just received a document directly from NVC which we're going to work on long distance, then they will be sending the P3 directly from NVC. She is signing and sending the Agent of Choice form back to them today, selecting me as agent of Choice. They will then send the P3 from NVC directly to me here in the states. I'll do all the paperwork, then the NVC will contact Guangzhou and they will issue the P4. The NVC has been kicking some major A this month. Any way, thats what I've learned today on the I-130 process. The K3 packs are still in long term storage at DHL in Guangzhou. So it's starting to look like I-130 might win in the tortoise and hare. Tip one back for me, Dean Link to comment
hypoclear
Just send it in. That's what I did. I know they've received it and haven't, as of yet, kicked it out. I've never even seen the barcode. What's it like? A little black and while stripy thing? Great!!! Just finished the cover letter and Bea is filing the form out. So we will send it out today and hope for the same. yes the bar code is just that the black lines with white spaces. It is part of the address to: of a formal bussines letter at the top of the letter and much larger along the bottom with the NVC case number above it than a space and the CR1. Below the bar code is the case number again but with a dash and another series of numbers, hmmmm this might pertain to the form number or some other routing info, I have no idea. Ok so we will hope they accept this and no problems and if there is well we haven't lost any time as long as we finally get the DS-230 they mailed to us. Just send that in at that point. Thanks!!! Tip one back for me, DeanEvening Dean; Oh so that was your stomping grounds in China.. takes us over 1 hour in a moini bus to get out there, which I like but each time Bea says.. I'll never come out here again! Don't blame here as it is a boring ride back. Last time out we went to Roma's for dinner, very good and worht the price, but we have found a place in town by the Shanghai hotel called the NYC cafe which has great food and reasonable prices. Check it out when you are back this way Great!! we sent in fees to St Louis and recieved the forms.. just affadavit of support and this last one DS- 230 so if you have filled out those or the support one already. They check with IRS on this one I believe. Than yes you will be flying thru NVC and on to GZ.. I hope it does for, the I-130 coz with that you should have her in the states with a green card and SS#: waiting for you... The impression I get is the other way there is a long wait for the green card and the adjustment of status to deal with. Mark You got it.. heheh but now HK is my stompping grounds.. the train ride is soooo much better than a mini.. Link to comment
