China Post Delivery of Immigrant Visa

Recommended Posts

We mailed ours to a residential address. Theft and other losses tends to occur when using the regular snail mail. When they mail her passport it will be registered (and you'll be able to track it). But in answer to your question, if she can receive mail at her company, then yes, she can give that address.

So our relative in Beijing will receive an envelope from EMS.

It will be one large EMS envelope with these contents:

  • Passport with visa
  • Sealed immigration envelope (not to be opened until POE)

Is that correct?

This was asked a long time ago, but I'll reply for others who are using it as a reference.

Yes, that's correct.

Does anybody know if the call-in letter will be sent by EMS or other postal service? We are still waiting for the call in letter. It's been 7 weeks since we turned in the required paper. We inquired twice through email about the progress. Nothing but 'administrative processing' was the reply from GUZ. Is there any way to call someone at the Consulate? Thanks for any advice
