skypilot714 Posted November 19, 2009 Report Share Posted November 19, 2009 myself and my fiance are just begining the process of getting her here I would like to hear from people who have been through the process and have any advice?also I was wondering if she should have all her translated documents notarized it seems as if getting things notarized there is very expensive we know the docs have to be certified translations but we are not sure on notarization.Thanks all Link to comment

You can read many of our stories, and hopefully you can get a pretty good idea of the challenges you'll face as you wind your way through this process. As you can tell from my timeline, it's neither quick nor easy! But, it was well worth it! For K-1 the required docs from China needed at the time of interview can be found here: http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/up...m169-May_09.pdf Note this is needed at the time of interview NOT when filing the I-129F petition to USCIS.
