Ok what happend if she mailed the P-3 papers to GUZ Early?

As the post says I think she may have sent in the papers already.....

Im not sure yet I have to wait till she wakes up and make sure.

 

I think she got confused when I said we would mail them in early.

 

I called GUZ and they have the file in the system but the papers are not there yet.

 

Will this be a problem?

 

Im thinking we will just have to resend them.

 

Any ideas?

I'm no expert, but I'd also guess that the worst that would happen is that you have to resend them. If you get lucky then perhaps she'll receive the P3 shortly and the mistake will have shaved several days off of your wait.

 

I bet that people do this somewhat regularly either out of confusion or assuming it will save time...

If the big computer says the P3 has been sent, you are safe. As soon as it said the P3 was sent, we mailed our P3 the next day. The P3 package sent from the consulate to my then fiancee was received 9 days later.

Do NOT send the actual documents to the Consular office, as we will have to destroy them.

I would believe this would also apply to sending OF-169 and DS-230 to the consulate before they request these things.
