RobertH
I been seeing some post about the holiday slow down... Do they fold up the tents and stop doign stuff during November and December? Robert Link to comment
Kyle
Don't know about that - but it sure is a possibility. They obviously will take some time off for Thanksgiving. Likewise, they will take some time off for Christmas probably lasting through the New Year. My brother works in DC, and he usually has several days off during the end of Dec through early Jan. I expect US government officials residing overseas, to take the same time (if not more) than their coworkers in the States. Consulate officers not only take time off for American holidays, but they are also closed during Chinese (or what ever country they are in) holidays as well. This is actually a good question. Not sure it belongs in TC Edited October 25, 2009 by KJJ (see edit history) Link to comment

Eric739
The holidays did hold up ours. The response in overcoming was blamed, in writing, on the holidays. Then it was the backlog, and then blah blah blah. The lawyer wrote a summation of the case and we got the pink two weeks later. Link to comment
