3timescharm
Ok....I am sure this has been answered but I am unable to find Instructions say:Two copies of DS-156 form with original signatures (with Chinese name and telegraphic code). Two copies of DS-157 form (Only applicants aged 16 or older need to submit this form).Does this mean 2 copies in English and 2 in Chinese...or 1 copy in each language?Robert Link to comment
dnoblett
Means 2 copies of DS-156, and DS-157 typically English version. Can fill this out on line and print it twice DS-156 DS-157 CTC can be looked up either at a post office, or here: http://www.njstar.com/tools/telecode/ (Paste name Chinese Characters in box and it will generate the code numbers that represent the characters) Edited October 3, 2009 by dnoblett (see edit history) Link to comment
david_dawei
Here's how you save a lot of face We did get confirmation that the english versions are only needed... but once in a while someone gets someone not informed and the chinese versions were asked for as well !! Give her the english versions and tell her to just bring a blank copy of the chinese version in case someone with wrong information forces her to fill one out. For those confronted with this scenario... This is when "Lao Gong... you so smart" comes out instead of , "Lao Gong... you wrong... why you do that to me"... Link to comment
