Sending papers for interview

Recommended Posts

I am gathering my papers to send my SO for the interview. THis is what I have so far:

Letter from employer

paycheck stubs

letter from bank

I-134

more chats and emails

Notorized letters explaining my divorces

She already has my last 3 years tax transcripts

She already has over 100 pictures of us togeter plus other evidence

She already has detailed EOR

Do I need to send copies of Divorce degree's.......they were send with I-129f?

Yes, definitely include certified copy of all divorce decree's. There was a couple that got a blue slip on the same day of our interview because they didnt have copy of divorce decree.

Sam and Fen other recommendations are good too. I would include those.

Divorce degree's

:P

That's one of the best Freudian Slips I've seen here :D

The bank letter is probably overkill with all the other stuff. just make sure she is comfort retrieving whatever financial is asked for. so maybe order in most likely request (IMO: I-134, taxes, employer letter, bank letter)... or put in a folder to hand over regardless of which one is asked for.

Was an EOR or letter explaining divorces submitted with the petition?

Rarely asked to see one at an interview, but if you've done them then just set the expectation that it's always possible they ask for something specific even thought she has sometime like what they want.

Anything previously submitted could technically be asked for... it's not often, but it remains as a worthwhile 'extra' folder to have on hand.
