We need help!

In fact, I might add, when Owen and I met with the Head of the IV Unit in GZ last February, he openly told us that the reason he was changing the way they were processing the visas was that a group of about 300 people made such a ruckus he had no choice. Owen can back me up on this, he was there.

How were you able to arrange a meeting? How did you even find out who this was? Can you shed some light to help us newbies out? :(

My suggestion is we wait till Monday morning to see if any more P3s have been processed, if not then all P3 pit members should call DOS and let them know that our cases have not been processed by GZ.

DOS

1-202-663-1225

press 1 then 0

Lets try to be cordial and ask them for an explanation as why so many others were processed but we were not.

I hope, more than anyone, that I'm just being a total freak about the P-3 situation. Hopefully there will be a ton of P-3 notices that show up on Monday and my shrill tone will have been completely unjustified.

I look at it this way: If my tone IS justfied, then we have a jump on getting something done. ....Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

If you were being a freak, it wouldn't have been unjustified. Going through this process really makes you appreciate dealing with the IRS...

Good question. Several members of the "Pit" have also PM me or emailed asking the same question. I promise that I will post a fairly detailed account of how we managed to arrange for this meeting in GZ. Right now I am really bushed. I had to churn out a couple of newspaper articles for the local paper yesterday in addition to taking a five hour round trip up to Gallatin, Tennessee. Tomorrow have to drive down to Jasper, Alabama...that's right...Jasper...to cover something. Ah, the life of a small town journalist....now if they would only pay me a decent wage. ;)

Promise I will post something by mid-week if not sooner. I have a lot of writing going on right now. Of course, this may give the Frenchman a chance to regain his lead. :D

Thanks, Mick.  I know a lot of us would certainly appreciate the tips that you can share.

Just glanced to the left and noticed you had over 3000 posts...  I can't even imagine having 300 posts...

Well, I have been at it a long time. Old Black Holer ya know! Plus, the competition with Eric spurs me on in spite of my lethargy. :(

I think it's funny that you are ahead of Eric now, keep up the good score, glad to see you are writing for a local paper, sometimes those news articles hit the big papers and maybe a news article may again hit the big papers on immigration, hope it hits just before the elections as our gov't still lacks alot on getting things done in a timely manner, time to clean house would make a good article.
