keelec
Also, make sure she pays the $830 mentioned on the guangzhou consulate website.Oh My..... Oh, I looked up on the website.... RMB830.00 I assume that is different than $830. By the way, today there were quite a few broken links on the Guangzhou website: Whenever the website takes you to a link like:http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/guangzhou/iv or http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/guangzhou/cons Take out the second "guangzhou" Thus, the correct links are:http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/cons and http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/iv ------ Clifford ------ Link to comment
se_lang
This one is interesting http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/iv/notice.html The Immigrant Visa Unit provides case status information only to applicants, petitioners, lawyers and Congressional offices. When you contact this office, please always provide us the applicant's name, date of birth and the case number (if any). If you contact us via email, please always put such information in the subject line. The Immigrant Visa Unit processes thousands of cases and receives thousands of telephone and written inquiries each month from applicants, petitioners and lawyers, as well as congressional offices. We handle them as fast as we can in the order received. You are welcome to inquire about the status of your case at any time. However, we ask that you understand such inquiries consume resources that might be better employed processing cases. Please don't write or call to check if we have received a form or inquiry from you. As soon as we process your submission, we will notify you. Link to comment

Not to mention the best e-icons of the entire Candle group! "Seriously," you do cheer us up! Bob & Minglian, Those are two of the nicest things anyone on Candle can tell me. Funny and cheer people up. That's always my intent. These ain't easy times for folks while they wait and wonder. If I can put a smile on someone's face briefly during it all, then I've done my job as a CFL member. God knows that this site got me through my 11+ months. Jerry hinted that this site is addicting. It really is. Hell....JM will be in SF in less than nine hours and I'm still perusing this place! Why? Cuz I can't sleep and reading postings from people in similar circumstances helps pass the time. And, if I can offer something helpful, it feels good. This will probably be it for me for a while (geez....sounds like I'm dying or something....then again, my bachelorhood will be dead and stinking the moment I greet her. I wonder if it's too late to hit a strip club....). http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0903/liebe/love-smiley-084.gif A busy two days await me in San Fran not to mention a busy rest of my life. Not to fear, I'm a true CFL addict....... http://www.smiliegenerator.de/s20/smilies-10554.png Link to comment
