mikem
It has been just 6 weeks(I can't believe I said JUST) as of this past Saturday 11/1 that the papers have been in NVC. When I spoke to April yes April(who was surpisingly friendly) this morning she informed me that I should receive a letter in 7 to 14 days indicating the papers have moved on to GZ. M Link to comment

MDon't count on any letter from NVC. I never got one....don't think anyone does. See if you can get the waybill number (PM Tywy 99 for assistance) and start tracking your petition. When it is picked up at GZ, give them a month and then drop them an email. Congrats on clearing NVC....four more hurdles ahead (customs, P3, P4, Interview). Good luck! http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung0903/mittelgrosse/medium-smiley-032.gif Link to comment

MFor a case at NVC "just" 6 weeks would be appropriate phrasing. Honestly, if you look around on the site here you'll see most people have waited FAR longer than that. If your case cleared in 6 weeks, you're smokin' through the system, dude! Link to comment
tywy_99
A lady at NVC told me the same thing back in March. She said that my case would be mailed to GZ and I will be receiving a letter in two weeks. Talk about getting someone's hopes up!......yeah, right,,,no letter ever came! Not trying to dash your hopes, mikem, and I hope you do get a letter, but don't put too much faith in getting a letter. Call them about once a week. When they tell you they have mailed it, get the mailing date from them. You can also get a GUZ number from them too. -good luck Link to comment
