P3 and EMS

I called DOS and they said that the P3 was already sent but it was sent to her old address.

 

Do they send out all the P3's through EMS? She can't sleep now thinking her P3 is lost somewhere. I am thinking I should just write a letter and fax it to the consulate.

I tried telling her this, but she rather take the word from other women on 001 that it is not good or up todate. I am not going to argue with a woman, much less a chinese woman, ha ha ha

 

I will call DOS again tomorrow and see if they sent it EMS and if they did maybe get a number she can try to track it down. If not, I think I will just fax a letter to them with the address in both pinyin and chinese characters and have them send a new one. Just hope I get the right number to fax it to, I have come across 3 different numbers from the site alone.

they don't give out EMS tracking numbers because P3's are sent in batches...

just download the P3 forms and put an EMS label in the package this way they can use the label to send out P4 to the correct address. P3 consists of 2 forms DS-230 Part 1 and OF-169.

P3 is always sent by EMS with address written in Chinese. They don't need pinyin; that would just confuse them. Make sure your wife is waiting at home 24/7 for the delivery guy
