AOS timeline?

We filed the AOS paperwork for my father's wife and her son. The DC number says that the paperwork was delivered today. I was just wondering, what does the process look like from here on out? How long is typical before the AOS approval. And also, about how long does the work permit take to be approved? I'm just looking for a general idea of what to expect from here on out. thanks.

I-765 (Work Permit) can take up to 90 days to process.

 

AOS (I-485 can take 4 months to a year or more to process)

 

If NOT adjusting from a K-Visa, look up I-485 processing time for your local field office.

If they are adjusting from a K-Visa, the I-485 MAY get sent to CSC for adjudication without an interview.
