10 year card

My wife just received her congratulatory letter stating that she

was approved and should receive he card in 60 days. Just under

8 months from filing to receiving the letter, I was thinking a year

or more so we are very very happy.

 

Now I guess it's time to start reading through the citizenship

posts.

 

I do have one question, maybe should post it in the citizenship

section but I'll give it a shot here. On our last trip a few months ago

we purchased a condo in a new complex being built. We plan to go

back next year when everything is finished and we have our eyes on

some other places. If my wife becomes a citizen, does she give up any

rights to property she/we own? Is there a restriction on the number

we can own?

 

I'll do a search but for now, just throwing it out there

It's nice to see someone getting their green card before 12-months.

 

Regarding owning property in China, my wife tells me that there will be no affect if your wife becomes a US citizen. Also, there is no restriction that we're aware that limits you on how many properties you can own, whether paid in full, or making payments.
