does this help ?

http://online.themlc.org/course/view.php?id=48

she might need to get an account to actually 'see' the content (not sure)

also - is this place close to you in sacramento ?

http://www.scusd.edu/adult_schools/oldmarshall/index.htm or

http://schools.scusd.edu/oldmarshall/class...itizenship.html

suggest you call them for their next citizenship class.

But - if the Old Marshall Education Center failed your original label of 'having decent classes' - You might want to post your experiences about this place, save other people the pain and agony of going to The Old Marshall Center...

I was looking for classes here in the Portland area but there were none availabe during our time frame. Bing pored over the study guide and listened to the audio CD they gave us. I printed out the questions from the USCIS website and quizzed her on them every night at dinner. I checked the ones she had the most trouble with and concentrated on them until she had it. If you can't find a class, don't worry about it. The test isn't all that difficult.

you might also see if any of your friends or any family has a degree in History or Social Sciences (heavy in the political sciences). I happen to have degrees in both and as such Ying is always asking me to clarify certian question she has as to the why and wherefore of American politics.

I am not sure you need a class, the questions will come from the 100 questions as described on the USCIS website. They have some some study information, including flash cards, etc. Ying was enrolled in some GED prep classes, which here in Illinois requires a Constitution test. That test asks question along the lines of the Citizenship test. It was no big deal. I think if you study/practice the 100 questions everything should be fine. We plan to review the 100 questions, but that is a lower priority to Ying's current college classes.

Best Wishes
