How to print Chinese Charactures

Recommended Posts

I want to print chinese words to paste onto my packet 3 supplemental information sheet but I can't find a way to do it. Any ideas??

What input method and font are you using? Both must be Chinese (japanese, in a pinch)

First, make sure you can input Chinese to Notepad or Word - others may have some advice about pdf's, but I didn't find them any different

You may have to add the chinese character sets to windows,

Control panel --> Regional language options, --> Languages --> install files for east Asian languages.

Simple if you speak Geek. Do just what I did. Scan the forms in, send them through a form filler program and create a text search-able PDF with acrobat fill-able text fields. Add Chinese IME to to your computer. Add Chinese support to your Acrobat 8 standard. Then type away. Then print the form.

ah - ok - original poster is using word? take a step back, try WORDPAD - paste the info using WORDPAD - it SHOULD autoswitch to the proper fonts. If it doesn't, then it's time to revisit your Asian language support packs, referenced above.
