K-1 denied at Guangzhou, CR-1 is approved and in NVC

I did the same as you (K1 refused and CR1 approved). I also attended ACH before the interview which I think helped. Also, at the ACH the VO suggested I write a Letter of Evolution which I did and that was the first thing my wife gave to VO during interview along with my passport.
