If hostilities occur between Taiwan and Mainland China would the US aid Taiwan and risk a 3rd World War? It goes back to the Cold War question will the US allow Chicago to be destroyed in order to save Berlin?

Why would they build one? They already have a perfectly nice one outside of Shenzhen courtesy The Former Soviet Union.

They should be able to put out a state of the art, 1st Class vessel. I trust the PRC with 'em more than I do the Russians. (Hell, they'll wind up making 1 or 2 for the Ruskies, simply cuz they've got better technology and quality control.)
