Does your local library use NetLibrary?

Recommended Posts

So check your local library's website - look for ebooks from NetLibrary -

The Pimsleur Mandarin series is available for download.

For FREE. Is part of Digital Rights Media electronic watermark, usually with a 3 week checkout period. Is easy to renew, is easy to download.

Is really 'the audio book' portion - but can be set up on some mp3 players as well - in case you want to be mobile and learning at the same time.

There are other languages as well, English ESL Series, for example.

Warmest Regards...

PS - don't have a library card? Please get one ! It's the best Christmas Gift you can give yourself..

Great tip. Thank you.

So much to learn, so little time. Didn't locate the netlibrary. But, I did find this for Florida library card holders:

"The Florida Electronic Library is a gateway to select Internet resources that offers access to comprehensive, accurate, and reliable information. Available resources include electronic magazines, newspapers, almanacs, encyclopedias, and books, providing information on topics such as current events, education, business, technology, and health issues. The Florida Electronic Library offers information for all age groups, including homework help for students and resources for teachers."

FWIW, the Floriday library subscribes to services from OCLC, which in turn owns NetLibrary... Oh Well, maybe it's there, hidden, buried, under the 'Electronic Books ' Section over at http://www.flelibrary.org/resources/licensed.cfm
