I mailed out my I -765 and 485 to New York immigration office and got a receipt in July 11. I got my job by using the temporary EAD from the airport when I entered in New York.

As I was waiting for my one year EAD, I received a Notice of Action from the INS last week, which tells me my receipt number, case type and also says the next step is to have my biometrics taken at a BCIS ASC. They gave a 1-800 national service to call for an appointment. I tried that number and never had a luck to put through. Is there any JMS know what's the procedure of getting an EAD in NYC? I am really confused about that paper says.
