yuejihua Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 hi, CFLers, my husabnd filed I-130 for my son in early Augest this year, we want him come later because he need to finish the middle school , We want my son can come here for high school next Sep, but we have heared nothing since we got NOA-1, hong long does it take for the I-130 approved? and how long does it take in GUZ? dnoblett Posted November 28, 2008 Report Share Posted November 28, 2008 Also if you celebrate 2 years of marriage before the visa is issued, the visa will be IR-2 not CR-2, entry to USA on an IR visa results in 10 year green-card. Or if son delays entry till after your 2nd anniversary the result is the same. The visa is valid for 6 months. Link to comment
