Birth certificate

hi,all. I finally landed in the U.S:)

 

I brought 2 notorized birth certificates, but they are not those from my chinese resident book. They are the same with the one i brought to Guangzhou for interview. I wonder if this notarized copy would do when i change my status? Or do i have to get a copy from my chinese book? but they won't be able to read chinese anyway? Will the copies of notarized birth certificates do?

 

Also, the customs official took away my brown envelope. I do not have it now. Is it the right procedure?

oh,hi don..My fiance told me you got the interview date..congratulations and good luck!!!! Thanks for the prompt response, i am still unpacking things. Oh..i saw a member here turned in 4 or 5 copies of birth certificates? Do you know if i can just make a copy of my notorized birth certificate? I only have 2 original notorized birth certificates. Thanks Say hi for us to your sweetie. I was in shanghai yesterday and now in the U.S hehe.
