don't count anyone twice. under c put zero.

For some wacky reason this one confuses people, if you are sponsoring your spouse on the I-864 then don't count your spouse as spouse, count them only as immigrant.

 

Don't count someone twice.

 

The form clearly says "Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:"

One note:

 

I used I-864EZ because:

 

I:

• Sponsored one immigrant, my wife.
  
• Did not use asset data.
  
• Did not need a joint sponsor.
  

If you qualify to use I-864EZ then I recommend it, the form is easier to understand.
