dale7570
hello to all. me and my honey went to the ss office today and applied for her ss card. i didn't have an eligibility issue, but the ss employee kept asking me why the k-1 visa had a line drawn thru it.i only guessed that its because the k-1 is a single entry visa and they drew a line thru it to show it had been used. does the poe normally draw a diagional line thru the visa? well anyway we were allowed to apply for the card so all is well. dnoblett
You have it right, in our case the POE officer wrote "Void" on the visa to indicate it was used. Link to comment

Just copy this link location to your signature. Either rt click and select copy link location, or open the link and copy it from the address box of your browser, CFL web server abbreviates it here on the page. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profil...=1&id=46074 Use the add URL button on the editor for your signature. Toplaw
There were no marks made on our K-1 or K-2 visas at POE. Of course, the officer also failed to issue or attach an I-94 to the visas as well. Link to comment
Randy W
There were no marks made on our K-1 or K-2 visas at POE. Of course, the officer also failed to issue or attach an I-94 to the visas as well. You may need the I-94 - a duplicate can be ordered.f your Form I-94 was lost, stolen or mutilated, you can file Form I-102[1], an Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival-Departure Document with the USCIS office[2] having jurisdiction over where you are temporarily located. You need to submit a copy of the original I94 form. If you don't have that, you need to submit a copy of the biographic/photo page from your passport and a copy of the passport page that was stamped by a border inspector when you entered the U.S. If you can't submit any evidence of your legal admission into the U.S., you must submit a full explanation and proof of your identity. The IO at the AOS interview will ask for it. I'm not sure about what happens if you don't have it. http://www.murthy.com/news/n_alkeep.html It seems like you need it for the SS card, also. But you've already been there !??
