This is NOT the China I know where there should be at least 6 people involved...

That's actually unusual. In China, labor is cheap; they rarely use technology when human labor can be used instead.

 

I once saw an 8-lane major road constructed by guys with shovels mixing asphalt, etc. The only powered technology they used were the trucks to deliver the materials, and a steamroller.

Ah, but nothing was spared for her coming out party. Kind of like what a lot of our seet honeys did for us on our first trip over, no matter how long thay worked for what it cost.

Interesting comment. When I was in India, they were putting in a dam. They had women marching down a trail down the side of the soon-to-be lake. Each one had a pad on their head, and was carrying a large rock in the pad. When they got to where the rock would be placed, they would tip their head, and the rock would fall out. A man was there to place the rock in position.

 

No bulldozer needed. B)
