beijinglady
Hello everyone. I have a question regarding the visa fee for K-3 applicants? Is it 830 RMB (visa processing fee for non-immigrant visas) and/or 2,925 RMB (immigrant visa fee as stated in Form 169)? I would greatly appreciate receiving any feedback from the group. Thanks a lot. Beijinglady Link to comment

beijinglady
The two different fees are based on the "immigrant/non-immigrant" staus of the visa. If someone files an I-130, it is an immigrant visa and fee covers all of the costs to issue the green card. However, a K-3 is just a multiple-entry visa for a spouse. They don't need an Advance parole document to come and go between their home country and the US. However, for a K-3 to obtain a green card, they must pay the AOS fees. In the long run, it comes out about the same. What's that commercial for FRAM oil filters? Pay me now or pay me later.Thank you for the information Donahso.. Beijinglady Link to comment
