rogerluli
AMERICAN CITIZENS SERVICES Important announcement: Those Americans living in our consular district who wish to renounce their citizenship must make an appointment to discuss their intent with a consular officer and to pick up the forms. The forms must then be returned and an appointment made to renounce. It takes at least 6 - 8 weeks to receive the approval of the renunciation from Washington. The Consulate will hold your U.S. passport during this period. No appointment is needed for other services. ...Has there been some kind of a run on renunciations lately??? Link to comment
