I wonder if there is a place with a kitchen so we can cook. I would like to stay for about 1 week in GZ and then go to the house in Zhongshan after the interview.

You've got that right! But I have all the confidence that my wife WILL find a place without it. She grew up in a place that did not have cars and she has been spoiled ever since.
