I am new to this site. Just wanted to introduce us. I hope this is not being posted in the wrong place, I looked around and could not see a specific area.

Ying and I met online last year. After many letters everyday, and getting to know each other quite well. We decided to take the next steps. I went to China and we were engaged. I live in Tennessee and Ying lives in Chongqing for now.

Any advise would be appreciated.We filed the I -129F petition in March. I recieved and E-mail stating it had been approved and the approval notice was being sent out on May 6, 2008. Which seems very quick after looking on the timelines here, and by USCIS's processing times that are posted there that say they are currently processing Oct 17, 2007 applications. Is this normal to recieve approval before they show pprocessing that date on the web site?

I believe you are right, VSC has been faster than CSC of late. Anything that is faster in this process... is a good thing
