Thanks to all who gave me some help or advice.

 

For whatever it is worth, I am putting out my timeline:

 

February 4, 2002 : mailed I129F

March 6, 2002 : received NOA

March 25, 2002 : received 2nd NOA

June 10, 2002 : received packet #3

Nov 21, 2002 : interview

January 4, 2003 : namecheck resubmitted

March 17, 2003 : namecheck resubmitted

June 12, 2003 : namecheck cleared

July 16, 2003 : visa on hands

 

After reading websites like 001 in china, or CDL, one feels like they should

do something instead of just waiting.

 

So I wrote emails, letters, and faxes to all government staff, and called senators, city representatives, maura harty, etc

 

If any of these letters that I sent out helped my case, only God knows.

Based on my timeline, I doubt.

 

So my final say to some of you that are still waiting, just be patient. Your case will eventually be concluded upon completion of required

security-related vetting through an interagency clearance process.
