Teaching Chinese

Lei is currently teaching groups of two and sometimes four in her home town, shes paid 20 RMB hourly. Shes having fun and teaching English in some cases, we have contacted a few private mandarin and mixed language schools in our area and will be shooting for one of them when shes ready and able to work. Maybe she will tutor first while we are applying. :-)

My wife teaches math calculous at city college. She is a student tutor, so she is not paid much for the first semester. about 9 dollars and hour. but if someone wants private tutor, i think it is reasonable to charge 20 to 30 dollars an hour, or even higher. it depends.
