OK,what is the literal translation?

Is the above an "Chinese Idiom".

"People in hell want ice water" (I think that a bit harsh).

"Gas,Grass,Cash or Ass,nobody rides for free".

"You can wish in one hand and XXXX in the other, see which one fills up faster".

"Don't ever sell your soul for a mess of spirit".

I'm wondering why he doesn't ask his wife to translate B)

What I provided is a chinese proverb/idiom...

I would say with many chinese sayings, you often don't want the literal translation but the meaning...

but a literal translation might be something like:

good intentions also might change into donkey livers [and] lungs

But the meaning would be more like:

Good intentions also become evil intent

----

I think a chinese for your original would go as:

ͨÍùµØÓüµÄµÀ·É϶àµÃÊÇÄÇÖÖºÃÒâ

---

And I find one saying in Taiwan:

ϼ¦µ°ÎÞ£¬À¼¦Êº¶à

Since you want literal meaning, I'll give that and you can figure out the intended meaning:

Beneath the chicken is no egg, seize alot of chicken shit :P

----

I'm sure someone else can translate or write out this better...
