dnoblett
We sent a "Certificate of Marital Status" when we filed her I-129 back in May 2007. But now that "Certificate of Marital Status" is expired. The question we have is - Should she get another to take to her interview? This is not required by USCIS when filing the I-129F, it is required by GUZ at the visa interview. This applies also to I-134 Affidavit of support, not needed by USCIS, it is needed for visa interview. Link to comment

jimncherry
Dear CFL, All necessary certificates must be valid on the day that the visa is issued. So, if your visa is issued by March 22, you will not need new certificates. If it is not issued until after that date, you will need new ones. Sincerely,USCONGUZ QUOTE(lylyian @ Dec 20 2007, 06:22 PM) Dear USCONGUZ, My Police certificate and marital status certificate will be expired on March,22,2008.If my interview date arrange before the date my certificates expire, are they still good for the interview?
