Petition Status After Arrival At GUZ

OK! Sorry for the misinformation. I did some further investigation after I posted the info on VJ. The paperwork was probably delivered to the warehouse. The DHL # 8183638960. I believe the warehouse is quite possibly in Hong Kong. 2 hour delivery time to final destination :)

If going to GZU, the electronic version is there. The real paper one is 3-4 months from landing! Good Luck! :P

The DHL warehouse is what, what they call "stuck at the custom"?

Can you please teach me how to track through DHL? Altho my papers were sent out on 11/16, probably info too old to track... =\

You might have gotten a "hidden piece" of the puzzle!! It went from 6 places in the US to HK, to.....................??

3-4 more months riding around the countryside of China!!

Buddy it is the way the US limits visas from China without really saying it!!

But they can't limit U.S. citizens from getting Chinese wives ! =\

Just to clarify this statement: David Z. and other long-term members here, have spoken to this in the past. While it is true that a USC has the right to marry anyone they so desire; a USC does not have a right to immigrate his/her spouse to the USA. Marriage and the Visa, are two separate issues.

Next, on your timeline, I assume it was the I-129F, for K-3, which was sent out to GUZ on 11/16/07 ??

If so, your file will have been at GUZ for two months at the end of next week.

Therefore, you should see the P-3 in the near future. Keep an eye on Mark¡¯s timeline. And me and Rob, will keep an eye on yours !!

Best wishes !!!

Yes, Found out that most all packages delivered in that area of China(Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc.) are routed through Hong Kong. and then shipped overland. This includes almost all the major delivery companies.

When the search is done for the packages through the DHL website, you will notice that the only area that these are delivered to are Hong Kong

I think calling DOS is the best way to track the case process. You need to be prepared to get all kinds of conflict answers from those "VISA Specialists". I bought 4 PINs for Lulu to call GUZ CUSTOMER SERVICE. We only get jokes and BS from the GUZ customer service representatives (they even try to get answers from Lulu). The paid GUZ customer service representatives do not even belong to US Consulate. DOS free call is the much better and the fastest way. The feel of waiting for P3 is the worst. Not so bad for P4 because you'll be busy for the forms and kitchen sink and the P4 will arrive right about you finish those stuffs. Good luck to all.

Best wishes,

Gino & Lulu

Yes, we're going with K-3, I-130 would take even longer... From what I see on other people's timeline, it seems that K-3 nowadays takes about 3 months NVC->GZ. =( Will definitely let you guys know!

Has anyone heard anything from our friend TL ???

I am wondering if he has a P-3 yet ?? or maybe even the P-4 ?? I hope he is doing well.

Is this list in correct order Rob ?? Is TL 'on-deck', after we get Mark (Shenzhen K-1) out of the way...finally !!! B) :D

How I wish this process could somehow speed up !!!

There are obviously many more in the system at GUZ, than just those of us here !! I remember when I was at ACH in Sept and Nov, I noticed that the overcome appointment line (same time as ACH) was very long. Those of us for ACH were the smaller percentage of the total group in the large room.

It also makes me wonder if our approx. 80% combined K-1, K-3, and CR-1 success rate (CFL members) is higher than the larger group (non-CFL members) from a comparative statistical standpoint ???

I miss my Lao Po.
