"A" number is the alien number which is found on the noa 2 and "G" number is the guz case number found on the nvc notice.

I originally filed through Lincoln, Nebraska. When I called there and talked to person#1 [they seemed to use Alien#] and explained GUZ denied and it was being sent back to them for review. He didn't know what the heck I was talking about and transferred me to a "Visa Specialist". She was the rudest person I ever talked to in the whole process. English wasn't her native tongue and when it was apparent she didn't understand the situation and I asked to speak to someone else, she accused me of being a racist and hung up. I called back and got another "Specialist" and finally got the petition out of the mailroom. IMHO try to get through to someone and point out the fact that there is a time window that needs to be addressed.
