It must be a slow news day at The Washington Post, this has been a problem since July when DHS made the big increase in fees.

 

Even DHS has made this known on USCIS site.

Does this backlog effect the CR1 apps.? Not that far along but I would like to know so I can let Ada know that it might take us longer to do what we want. We already knew it wasn't going to be a short walk in the park.
