Are you out west now in California? Here is a link for Long Beachon be held on July 28 -29. The reason they are held on various different weekends are that the various teams who compete in the festivals can participate in several races during the summer season. Link to comment

In the US and Canada the festival is held by private organizations so the date is adjusted to meet their scheduling needs. Link to comment
