Waited for one hour to be allowed to wait for a visa specialist (please call back later...). Then another hour in the loop: "the case is still open".

Yesterday morning I calmly and persistently called DoS at 8:30 sharp (great idea Don, thanks) about the name check.

After "only" twenty minutes I knew our clearance to be still pending. A polite visa specialist said two checks of the several agencies involved were complete; "classified" prevented her to answer how many there are.

 

Mick I enjoy your great pictures; it's great to connect nice faces with words. Do eat that healthy food and yes: of course Li knows best !

 

South Jersey Congressmen Frank A. LoBiondo wrote me about not having heard from GZ.

His inquiry on my behalf predates the good news of the improved e-mail by more then two weeks! (making it well past the mandated 10 days mentioned by Long_strider).

 

Since the great news of China_Dave and Sarahs clearance I heard nothing from CA to the March Black Holer's inquiry or my previous fax.

 

I do cherish the beautifully expressed faith in "The little Prince": even a tiny bit rubbing off on some in the government will improve the "open doors" policy of our "secure borders".
