tparrent Posted May 15, 2003 Report Share Posted May 15, 2003 Perhaps, just perhaps, a batch of clearances were completed and it is taking a few days for someone at GZ (or is it DOS?) to enter them into the computer. That might explain the increasing trickle of responses we've seen. On the other hand, it is also possible that the namecheck process is now running smoothly (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA) and the regular flow will keep up. Either way, the result would be more approvals over the next week. Misplaced optimism? Always possible. Link to comment

BUt that is a real good suggestion for them, right work on Saturday. Since January GZ has a policy of working alternate Saturdays if they get in a large number of clearances at one time. I am not sure what the magic number of clearances is that triggers this mechanism however. Link to comment
