About 4 weeks after the NOA2, I received the AOS bill and DS-3032 (Agent of Choice)

Have you gotten your P-2 for the I-129F yet? Typically that one (K-3) passes through NVC quicker than the CR-1 case.

No we havent received the P-2 for the I-129 yet...I would prefer the Cr-1 go through first but what ever gets her here first is best. The P-2 for the I-130 says its was sent to the NVC do they do a background check now? Or does it just get sent onto GUZ and at what time can I get the number to check on the status...

Somehow I got impression that the folks on this forum (marraige between US and China) averagely wait longer time to get P2(NOA2) than the poeple on visajourney.com

 

Am I right?

I belong to both so I dont believe that has anything to do with it. I think my P-2 took so long because I filled right after the IMBRA took affect and slowed everything down...hopefully thing will get going again soon..
