K3 Interview when CR1 already sent

Hello,

I am new to board. I had a question and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

My wife (zhoushu) has a interview appointment for K3 on Oct 17th, i will travel to be with her for interiew, However i recieved conformation from NVC that they sent our Cr1 paper's to China on Sept 21'st.

I read that the CR1 is better for employment and such, will we have to travel back to China for the CR1 if she get's the K3? or will they process her as a CR1 in place of the K3?

 

if anyone has any input i would greatly appreciate the input.

Hi, welcome to CFL

I don't want to give you advice as I am behind your timeline, but I think you can expect a 30-40 day wait before Guangzhou will receive your paperwork. So I don't think they will have them in time to change it from a K-3 to CR1 Interview. Here's a reply to me from a guy who knows much more than me on the subject.
