calling GUZ fee access # for info

Last night I tried calling the Guangzhou number where you use the pin # that you have to purchase. Well, I called and got a recording in English and Mandarin that would say for English please press 1, but when I pressed 1 the recording would just continue on a loop in both English and Mandarin. Has anyone else had this same problem? Any ideas on what I was doing wrong?

When I used it a few times last week it worked, but the reason I was using it in the first place is because Manyun had some sort of trouble with it. However, she could not accurately convey just what the problem was, but by the look on her face and some deducing, I'm thinking it was something similar to your problem, but with the Chinese option.

 

All I can suggest is wait a little bit and try it again. You aren't charged until you start to speak to a human. The woman who answered the phone every time I called was actually very nice. And, it's a very long-winded recording too.
