hunter
Hi, we mailed out aos stuff late last June. Is it possible to try to get some temporary work auth card while waiting for I-765? Just courious. Doing nothing but studying english, cooking me fantastic chinese cusine and being a homebody, just isnt satisfying her. She is very eager to work, she contstantly points out help wanted signs and has this eager light in her eyes. Ok, everything is going just fine between my lovest and I, seems we just need to wait a bit longer for the aos chapter of our lives to get behind us. bless you all. tywy_99
With a K3, there's not much you can do until the EAD card arrives. That can take up to 90 days. Once the EAD arrives, she can get a SSN and a DL. She can get a job, too. I don't know of any temporary cards but try calling the USCIS and see what they say. -good luck Link to comment

david_dawei
If you have filed for EAD and it has passed 90 days, you can go to the local office and get a temp EAD card.. since they are supposed to process it by 90 days... If you have not filed for EAD with the AOS, you can do as a hard copy file or an e-efile... Link to comment
