RivaRich
I'm confused I called DOS on 5-16-06 and was told that our P3 had been sent out on 5-13-06. Prior to that day, while inquiring with DOS about our P3's status, I was told that our name check had been completed. When I called DOS today to find out if GUZ has received our P3 yet, I was told that our name check had been completed but that it had expired. Has anyone else here been told that their namecheck had expired? If this did happen to you, how long did your namecheck take to be completed when it was done again and was the second time the namecheck was done faster than the first time? Did it delay the issuing of your P4 package a long time? Link to comment
LeeFisher3
Yep it happens if things get stuck but I don't see yours being long enough for that. Call back next week and get a second opinion. Link to comment

Spring1002
I agree with Lee. Normally they are good for a year. I think you'll get a different answer on your next call.218786[/snapback]Thank you for your help, donahso.:-) I really hope that DOS guy madea mistake. I did a research on CFL today, but only found few K3 and CR1 cases had the namecheck expired problem, It seems like it never happened to K1 cases members here. Link to comment
david_dawei
petitions initially have a four month validity.. and are automatically validated by the consulate [without our need to do anything].. I wonder if the DOS person was making some reference to this or really the name check.. but agree.. call again... Link to comment
