Receipt of IV fee

As part of the CR/IR IV document submissions by the applicant to the consulate, does the consulate require an application fee receipt for IV fees paid to the NVC ? The consulate's website suggests that fee receipts are not required to be submitted - http://guangzhou.usconsulate.gov/iv_faq.html

 

If fee receipts are required, will the consulate accept other documentary evidence, for example cancelled checks, if fee receipts cannot be obtained?

The Consulate does not require petitioners or beneficiaries to submit NVC fee receipts. The NVC provides the Consulate with this information.
