Multiple E-mails for Every Online Update

Recent USCIS e-mail announcements from the online site have come multiple times - three times for each announcement! A little strange ... I guess they really want us to know they're doing something.

 

Anyone else have this happening?

What goes on? They stopped sending us emails and you get triple

I had this happen on the approval and NVC forwarding the case and in AOS have only received one for 2 completed items. The system is not overly reliable.

 

Dan, I would demand a recount.

I got 2 duplicate e-mails for every notice. Maybe they think there are 2 different people out there with the exact same name and case number!!

Jan 19 we got 3 e-mails, one every 2 seconds, telling us the EAD was approved.

 

Nothing since.

 

we've had bios and interview scheduled with no change on the AOS case status web site and no further e-mails.

Well, the green card arrived today.

 

The USCIS online site (and the three e-mails we got with each update) said the green card was ordered on April 5 and mailed on April 10.

 

According to the green card we got today, the card is dated March 30 (the day it was approved at the interview), it was "processed" on April 5 (the date of the letter accompanying the card), and sent on April 8 (the date of the postmark).

 

So, the dates on the online site don't seem to match up exactly with what was going on. Oh well. The online site still is helpful to let you know you've got something coming.

 

So, anyway, we won't be getting any e-mail updates, multiple or otherwise for a couple of years. I'll still be popping by CFL now and then though.
