Name check / administrative delays

Based on a comment in another thread, I thought it useful to collect those who have been through namecheck hell...

 

here is the list I have but I don't have any related info like visa type or where the delay occurred... if anyone knows of another member name, please comment.

 

This is namecheck or administrative review prior to the interview:

Maui & China

Ndjarrett

Zingaro

liandLarry - K1, delay at CSC (7 months) and NVC (1 year)

philb - K1, delay at NVC (pending)

There was a time when extremely belated cases were pinned for high visibilty and attention.

A case comes to mind of a couple, SBS and orbitalpunk. I remember seeing it pinned until SBS got the visa.

Whatever became of that concept? Because I can think of two couples that could benefit from the visibility and attention. If anything, to help keep their spirits up and not feel totally lost and discouraged.

The two couple I speak of are Thomas and Lan, and Jesse and Lan which all four have greatly paid their dues!

This is not a 'currrent list'.. but a historical list.. anyone who has undergone a delay...

 

I suspect it would be useful to see the frequency, visa type affected, etc...
