From what I've read on this site I'm very scared that it could take several more months. We received our P3 for K-3 visa a few months ago from Hong Kong (that's where we were married) but the hong kong embassy told us to proceed with the cr-1 in guangzhou because our I-130 had already been approved. Do you think it would be faster if we went ahead and tried for the k-3 instead of the CR-1? Do k-3 visa's need name checks too? Do you think it would be faster since hong kong is proccessing it instead of Guangzhou? Link to comment
